Introduction
Welcome to WebANS - The Agent Name Service for the Agentic Web
Welcome to WebANS
WebANS is the first production implementation of the OWASP Agent Name Service (ANS) specification. It provides DNS-like functionality for AI agents, enabling secure discovery, verification, and routing across the agentic web.
What is WebANS?
Think of WebANS as DNS for AI agents. Just as DNS resolves domain names to IP addresses, WebANS resolves agent names to verified endpoints with full capability metadata.
from webans import Client
client = Client(api_key="your-api-key")

agent = client.resolve("payment.processor.v2")
